We will shortly begin recruiting our team of Instructors for the new season. Interviews normally commence in January

We are looking for energetic, friendly and enthusiastic people who will fit into the Llain team. You will need to enjoy working with clients of all ages, have lots of ideas and initiative and have the ability to work as part of a team.

We are an expanding family run centre providing multi activity courses for all ages, but mainly children and young people. Clients include schools, colleges, youth groups, families and businesses.

We recruit a wide range of individuals as long as you have a current first aid certificate you may be a potential member of Llain staff. In addition to qualifications we require staff with personalities to bring the best out of our clients.

Other qualifications that we look for are:

• SPA Training
• BCU Kayak level 2 Coach
• RYA Dinghy Instructor and Level 3 Sailing
• GNAS Archery
• MLTB Summer Training.

The length of contracts vary from 8 months to a few weeks depending on your availability.

Professional development is encouraged and staff are given the opportunity to progress in their chosen fields. In the past couple of years staff have successfully completed G.N.A.S. Archery Leader, RYA Qualifications, BCU star tests, Level 2 & 3 BCU Coaching Qualifications, Swiftwater Rescue & S.P.A Awards.

Staff work a 5-day week and so have time to head of and further their own outdoor experiences.
Most staff live on-site and are accommodated in single or twin rooms or small caravans. We have a well appointed staff room, toilet/ shower block and parking facilities.

Situated in the middle of Wales we are close to hills, rivers and surf. In an hour you can reach Snowdonia, The Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coastline.

Locally we have a wonderful unspoilt coastline for sea kayaking trips, sailing and coastal walks. We Kayak and sail in Cardigan Bay and regularly see the resident Bottlenose Dolphin population along with seals and other wildlife during trips.
